What's the one thing we all love when we travel? Cool hotel pools, of course. As I was thumbing through my digital travel photos, I was surprised at how many of the cool pools I've visited and how few of them I've actually photographed.

As an active member of the Twitter community (you can follow me @TravelProducer), I'm honored to not only be asked to co-host #FriFotos this week, but to share with you some cool hotel photos as we all share this week's theme: Pools.

#FriFotos is a weekly photo forum by @EpsteinTravels, @TravelDesigned, and @CharlesYap. The photo theme is revealed every Tuesday on Twitter at 12pm ET.

The Caribe Hilton, San Juan, Puerto Rico: Two of my favorite features of this hotel included their three-level cool hotel pool with infinity edges on the top two levels and a swim-up bar that was perfect for virgin strawberry daiquiris for the kids and pina coladas for me.

Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, San Diego, CA: This cool hotel pool is nestled at the water's edge on beautiful San Diego Bay on Harbor Island and has wonderful sculptures of seahorses and dolphins placed strategically around the pool and surrounding areas.

MSC Poesia, Western Caribbean: Some of the most cool hotel pools are on floating hotels these days. I have very fond memories of swimming in this pool on a 10-day Western Caribbean cruise that stopped in the Cayman Islands, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
