Although most of the hotels, resorts, attraction that are featured on my travel website have been paid for directly by me or my company, it is common in the travel industry to receive complimentary travel or reduced rates at hotels, resorts and attractions. On the occasions when this occurs, such offers are disclosed at the end of my blog posts and our guest bloggers are required to disclose offers in their posts as well. It is my goal to be fair and impartial in reviewing properties, attractions and destinations, even when I enjoy these perks as part of being a travel journalist.
This also applies to product reviews. On occasions where I may have been given a product for free to review and it will be disclosed. I, however, tend to pay for most of the products that I review since reviews are generally based on my experience with a product, I'm enthusiastic about it and just want to share the info with my readers. Disclosures will appear at the end of each post and I'll typically disclose that the product has been given to me for purposes of review
I hope you enjoy reading my reviews, but, naturally, I cannot be responsible if you don’t have the same experience with a hotel, destination, attraction or piece of travel gear.
