While most of the tips are important, the tip of using a hands free cell phone is not. The mistaken belief by many is that using a hands free phone is safer. It is not. Research has shown that Hands Free is NOT Risk Free - it is not the manual distraction that is a problem in this situation, it is the cognitive distraction, the brain is disconnected from the important task required, that of driving a dangerous object down the road.
