Mykonos Squid

Mykonos Squid

Hi Marianne,

I really wanted to share one of my personal travel photo favorites with your readers.

I caught it in Mykonos, Greece...Just a few steps from where the transfer bus drops you off when coming off your luxurious cruise ship, in front of a little tavern, you can see fresh squid, caught that morning, drying in the sun.

Although Mykonos is famous for its beaches, fancy boutique hotels, crazy nightlife, world-class shopping and sophisticated crowds, this scene is a nice reminder that besides being a top tourist destinationa, Mykonos is also just a fishing village.

Definitely not something you would see back home every day!
