Travel Photo:

Daxu Villager & His Horses

By Marianne Schwab | Best Travel Deals Tips Blog

Daxu is located in southern China approximately 18 miles from Guilin and has a 1000 year history. This ancient village is located on the north bank of the Li River and that's where I captured this photo of a local villager who was tending to his horse and colt. The animals were allowed to roam free in this area and graze on the grass in the tranquility of the river bank.
